Advanced Fire Fighting Refresher Course
Description:
The course syllabus covers the mandatory minimum requirements prescribed in Regulation VI/3 and Section A-VI/3 of STCW '95
Objectives:
Trainees who successfully complete the course shall be able to demonstrate the required minimum standard of competence set out in Table A-VI/3 of STCW’95 for seafarers who may be designated to control fire-fighting operations.
Entry Standards:
Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training and shall have completed Advanced Training in Fire Fighting within the previous five years.
Minimum number of participants is ten (10) and maximum is twenty-four (24).
Duration:
2 days (16hrs)
Certification:
A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
