Description:

This programme is designed to bridge the training requirements of personnel who have completed the OPITO-Approved Tropical BOSIET and intend to work in the UK offshore oil and gas industry.

Objectives:

Trainees who successfully complete this course shall gain a basic level of understanding and an awareness of safety and emergency response on United Kingdom continental shelve offshore installations.

Entry Standards:

This course is open to persons holding a valid OPITO TBOSIET or TFOSET course certificate.
Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training.

Duration:

1 day (6hrs)

Certification:

A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
The course is approved by OPITO.
There is no requirement for further bridging courses as further training requirements fall within the period as defined for UK BOSIET.
