Basic Safety Training Refresher Course
Description:
This course is designed to refresh the elements covered in the Basic Safety Training Course. The course will include any recent changes in legislation and operational practices relevant to the course content.
Objectives:
Trainees who successfully complete this course shall demonstrate continued proficiency and competence in the elements of Basic Safety as laid down in STCW95 of Table A-VI/1-1, A-VI/1-2 and A-VI/1-3.
Entry Standards:
This course is open to serving seafarers who hold a valid recognised Basic Safety Training certificate.
Minimum number of participants is ten (10) and maximum is twenty-four (24).
Duration:
3 days (24hrs)
Certification:
A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
