Description:

This programme is designed to meet the emergency response training requirements for personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry with respect to acting as an emergency response team leader.

Objectives:

• take responsibility for an individual Emergency Response Team
• may take responsibility for more than one team as Senior Team Leader
  • assess the incident
  • execute the emergency response plan

Entry Standards:

This course is open to personnel who have a current Emergency Response Team Member certificate valid for two years.
Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training.
Minimum number of participants is four (4) and maximum is sixteen (16).

Duration:

5 days (32hrs)

Certification:

A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
