Further Offshore Emergency Training Course
Description:
This program is designed to meet the further onshore safety and emergency response training and assessment requirements for personnel working in the offshore oil and gas industry.
This course may be taken to upgrade an unexpired Tropical BOSIET or FOET to the BOSIET / FOET standard.
Objectives:
During the FOET program delegates shall have an opportunity to practice and demonstrate skills which are not possible to practice offshore during drills, exercises and offshore training.
Course Outline:
- Emergency First Aid
- Firefighting and Self Rescue
- Helicopter Safety and Escape
Entry Standards:
This course is open to persons holding a valid OPITO BOSIET, FOET, Tropical BOSIET or
Tropical FOET course certificate.
Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training.
Minimum number of participants is four (4) and the maximum number is sixteen (16).
Duration:
1 day (8hrs)
Certification:
A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those delegates who successfully complete the program and meet the assessment criteria. The certificate is valid for four years.
