Further Offshore Emergency Training (OPITO)
Description:
This programme is designed to meet the further onshore safety and emergency response training and assessment requirements for personnel working in the UK offshore oil and gas industry.
Objectives:
Trainees who successfully complete this course shall have an opportunity to practice and demonstrate skills which they are not possible to practice offshore during drills, exercises and offshore training.
Entry Standards:
This course is open to persons holding a valid OPITO BOSIET or FOET course certificate.
Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training.
Minimum number of participants is four (4) and the maximum number is sixteen (16).
Duration:
1 day (7hrs)
Certification:
A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
